Naava Schottenstein, PhD

Dr. Naava Schottenstein is the visionary founder of BrainBloom Academy, where her passion for education drives her to nurture a lifelong love of learning among students of all ages. With over a decade of teaching experience, Naava expertly blends innovative educational techniques with a solid grounding in STEAMM+ disciplines to craft a curriculum that is both unique and transformative.

At BrainBloom Academy, Naava is dedicated to creating an environment that fosters personal growth and technological proficiency, ensuring that both young learners and adults are well-equipped to thrive in a constantly evolving world. Her focus on sparking curiosity, fostering creativity, and encouraging continuous learning prepares every student for success.

Beyond leading the academy, Naava is deeply committed to community outreach and educational initiatives, striving to make learning accessible and captivating for all. She is qualified to tutor a diverse array of life science courses, from middle school to college level. Her expertise spans Biology, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Genetics, Marine Biology, AP Environmental Science, Mammalogy, Ornithology, and Evolution, making her a profoundly versatile educator. Caleb Evans, EdD

Caleb has combined his education (including a Master of Chemistry and Doctor of Education) with 10+ years of experience in education to create a student-centered, interactive classroom that has received awards and partnerships with The Ohio State University, The Columbus Museum of Art, and Harvard Project Zero. In his last year at the secondary level, he was awarded teacher of the year before moving on to Columbus State Community College. Caleb has multiple peer-reviewed publications and regularly provides AI training and presentations. This includes recent conferences at the University of Guelph, the Atlanta Convention Center, and this coming Summer at the University of Kentucky.

Miriam Kleit, BA

Miriam Kleit, a Bexley High School alumna, combines her strong academic background and extensive tutoring experience to offer exceptional support in high school math, computer science, biology, and writing. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Macalester College, where she graduated with honors and minored in Computer Science and Anthropology, Miriam combines her diverse educational background with years of hands-on teaching experience. Despite being a recent graduate, she has several manuscripts already in the works including her honors thesis project, which should be published by the end of this year. In high school, Miriam was a National Merit Commended Scholar and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Miriam is passionate about science, communication, learning, and education. In her spare time, she enjoys crochet and knitting.
